re DELL LEAP I think I'm a newbie too, although I've been doing this since last Sept. People on this thread have been wonderful to me and have helped me so much. You did a wonderful thing: you will get the benefit of the DELL shares going up without spending so much money to do it. Get an idea in your mind of what you want from this LEAP (Its a 2001 so you have OOOOODLES of time) Do you want a triple? A quadruple? Do you want to see it split (when DELL does) so you will have two, or split again so you will have four? Dont panic if DELL (and the LEAP) go down sometimes. You are on your way. You will be well rewarded! If you dont need the money when this LEAP has reached your target, simply sell it, keep a little for yourself if you want (and taxes if we still have capital gains by then...I can hope) and get some more LEAPS further out (if DELL still has the promise it has now.)
