Do you come from the camp that IE is stand-alone app or an OS virus? <G>
I think these features use portions of IE code.

I say "Win98 features" cuz they premiered on that CD. Some of them are now available as separate downloads, but they are getting a little large to download by the average user.

You have to install Broadcast Architecture features manually:
Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Windows Setup, "Web TV for Windows".
(note: a backup is suggested before you explore this stuff)

Just this AM I received a "Windows Critical Update" pop-up notification inviting me to download something new from the Beta Windows Update site (it should appear in a week or two on the public site). Probably some code that will further blur the distinction between OS/app <g>
