Kal, That's why they are called "Wintel". It is fairly obvious that their fortunes are very closely coupled. IMO Intel is by far the better play at this point, because of p/e, earnings growth, and the continuing re-evaluation of Intel as a monopoly franchise rather than a commodity chipmaker. As I have been a silent reader of this thread for quite some time, thanks to Jack, Paul, Jules, Jmac (A good debate needs those opposing viewpoints), and all the rest. Keep up the good work ! Bob
