Sorry if this has been discussed before. I don't sign on too often. I am a long time shareholder of CPQ. In the event that CPQ were to spin off Alta Vista or another company, would the current shareholders receive shares?

It is an important issue and the company should be made aware that its shareholders expect to be taken care of. This should not be just another opportunity for the usual fat cats to get rich on an IPO.

Does anyone else have an opinion?
