earnings plays are really tough because the dates never seem to be 100%.. I understand WHY this is, but I dont know what to do about it.. Take MBRS for example- it was listed (common knowledge as well) that the earnings should have been out yesterday after the bell.. even the market gems list stated this.. Obviously, they are due out today..

very VERY important little detail when playing these things.. I dont like to hold positions overnight in this insane market, but if I had known that earnings were not due today I surely would have held a position in MBRS into this morning in anticipation of runup/limited downside given consistant record of beating the street..

sorry.. dont mean to complain, but I think its important people realize that yes playing the earnings game can increase your odds of walking away with a profit regardless of what the market does, but unless you actually talk to the company yourself and get them to comit to a date- watch out.. you can find yourself holding straight into a bad report, when your intentions were to get out before the report..
