probably both. I do like it and use it everyday. I used netscape since its inception and continually had lots of crashes when runing tons of browser windows. I switched to IE and find it stable. JS compat is limited and favorites being stored as indvidual files is absurd. My favorites take over 300M. Other than that its solid. I still use netscape occasionally for JS sites and a few apps at work that only work in NS. Experience shows the implications of installationa and uninstallation have dramatic ramifcations to the whole OS and strange things can and will happen sometimes.

so Web-tv is a plugin, I'll check it out. The windows update feature is one of the nice aspects of 98.

BTW: UPS just arrived with a DC-260 digital camera and 48M Flash card. :)
