Banks are betwixt and between. They need the technology to
survive, but only a select few will have the vision to pony up the
bucks today and accept the dilution for the next 2 years to be a
player 5 years down the road.

Is there anything in the Integrion deal that would prevent any single bank from taking over CF? If not, I'd be suspicious about City.
They realized how important EBPP is, they realized that they need four years to develop it in-house, they have plenty of cash. And the last, but may be the most important. Buy taking CF, with its Pay-to-Anyone technology, away from other banks they would throw the rest of the pack four years back.
