There was a highly negative article in Barron's back in June 1996 which questioned the integrity of some high ranking employees of Exide. The story is not available on Barron's online. I never read any follow up to the article in Barron's or any other publication. Sorry I can't give you more specifics. The drop in the stock price in June 96 is attributable to that article. Just wanted to let you and others know that there can be more to concern yourself with then meets the eye.
