What Do You Mean Commercial Diamonds ?

Why do you think there are commercial diamonds ? The grading came back at 0.04 carat/tonne. Using a $ 100/carat, the rock works out to $ 4 /ton - not very economical to mine.

I don't think its a question whether or not the pipes contain diamonds - most kimberlite pipes appear too. The question is if there is enough to be mined. Most kimberlite pipes (I think DeBeer says less than 1 in 60) are not economical to mine.

I think its a fair buy at these prices.
