Are you serious? K7 has 128k L1 cache on chip--faster than the L2 that K6-3 has on chip. K7 will have FAST off chip L2--running at the same speed (if not multiplier) as the current PII cache SRAMs! And the PII, even thus "handicapped" versus the K6-3, is still pretty close in performance, without the K7's other advantages.
