Claude -- I could be pursuaded to agree -- the problem with the nets is that sooner or later somebody remembers that these are supposed to be businesses that make money. Precious metals are purely 'positional' goods -- valuable because I have them and you don't or the other way around. We have a strong desire to speculate. If precious metals look like they can be played that way, everybody will want in on it.
