Brazil's Congress Begins Vote On Pension Bill Fast-Track Dow Jones Newswires BRASILIA -- Brazil's lower house of Congress began voting at 2130 GMT Wednesday on a measure to fast track a key social security reform bill. The lower house is voting on a controversial measure that seeks to hike social security taxes for civil servants and require some retired public workers to also contribute to the federal pension system. If the fast track is approved, the actual legislation will be taken to a floor vote later Wednesday.
