In addition to selling lower-priced computers, Silicon Graphics has announced plans to gradually shed its nearly $1 billion stake in microprocessor subsidiary MIPS Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq:MIPS - news) Has any one reconciled SGI balance sheet with this number. I am just wondering how much of the above is already in SGI share price. Personally, I get the feeling that SGI numbers are understating the MIPS investment.
