Larry, you're not responding to Fred's comment, only a distorted version of it. The implication is that inexperienced(not experienced) investors were at the root of the debacle in Dec. These investors were not responding exclusively to the internet chatter, but to their own faulty readings of the S3. My impression is that the situation was aggravated by negative comments from a few experienced investors whom, because of their nervous disposition, or fear of the "technicals", contributed to the panic.
If this mess had not occurred, I suspect that Fred would not feel the need to "talk up" the stock, now. Even so, his comments have often contained useful information, or at least, interesting speculation.
