No, he's reacting to Onsale's announcement Monday that they would be selling new computers at cost, and will be following an advertising model. Right - Gee, did he really think that no one in internet land wouldn't try something like this or some other kind of price 'war' that goes on in the real world. In a competetive environment margins are aways squeezed very hard. I'm not sure what the AMZN longs are worried about, they were selling books below their cost anyway. It's not like AMZN has a lot of intangible wealth in technology or anything.
