How long after the K-6 was there good availability? They answer varies but after nine months the K-6 yield problems were fixed for .35 micron by going to .25 micron. The problem with forecasting, is that if any room for contingency is included, people don't like the answer. I think six months is a reasonable time for a major product launch to become highly producible. If it shorter that will be better but perhaps to much to plan for. Jerry says that Dresden will ship for serious revenue in Q1 2000. The K7 with .18 micron has to be a big part of that.
