in that case there goes Jerry's bread n butter, however, the question is whether this kind of a virtual retail company survive in the long haul ( I heard you say they had vision)
I dont see any barriers to entry in such a thing, its like eBay, today they can get away by charging people comissions, but in the long run search engines and portals like Yahoo would be the ones that would win becasue they have the popularity and attract people,
I could open up a company like Onsale and run it in my attic,......*.* I would charge people only $5, would my attic be valued at a Billion $$$ ??? ,,aaahh forget it, its going to the same arguments again, I was wrong on Yahoo couple of years ago, I could be wrong here, but for me this whole internet thing is a bubble, I'm out and holding puts... |
