Premier,
I agree with you, as I did in the post of mine you referenced, that CYCH and their affiliates you mentioned will indeed be strong competition. But from what I can tell they will be competition on an intra-national basis, but not for now it seems, on an inter-national basis. I strongly suggest you go to CYCHs' webpage and review their product line.... cybercash.com ....As you browse I hope you notice that their clients in Japan and Germany (go to those pages internally) are in native language indicating to me that they are selling the product in Germany to be used by German retailers selling to German customers. The Japanese page is in Japanese language indicating the same thing. What this means to me ( and I found the subject breached nowhere in there site) is that monetary conversion is not a part of the system. In other words Japans CYCH is set up for Japanese business and customers, but I as an American using dollars instead of yen and not reading Japanese would not be able to buy there. Same with the German site and British site. Also, of the number of major US banks involved with CYCH, many have made it clear they won't support the Euro-dollar for a number of years as they are skeptical of its acceptance. So it appears to me that CYCH an international E-commerce entity, the retailers can only use it on an Intra-national basis.
On the other hand WINR is a centralized entity that will convert to all major world currencies from a single point of origin, and probably most importantly has set their system up to actively accept and trade the Euro-dollar. How many companies/consumers in Italy, Spain, China.....worldwide will WINR be able to service on an international basis that it appears at this point that CYCH can only accommadate on an Intra-national basis. To sum up, the way I see it CYCH will provide secure E-commerce transactions, but generally just between customers and merchants within the same country; while, WINR will offer the capability to interface with a Japanese or German company...etal, convert to that countries currency to buy (merchant gets paid in local currency) and also be able to view that foriegn merchants web page in your own native language so you know exactly what you are getting. International vs Intranational basically. These are what I see as the major and separateing differences between CYCH and WINR. If you find through your research that I have missed something ( and I did do a very quick Evelyn Wood reading of their website) please don't hesitate to point out any misconceptions I might have. As always....
