pham--

i have been saying it for a while, and this news seems to indicate that ALA is leaving the remote market. why the hell do they want it? the margins arent good enough.

superficially, this looks good for WSTL, but underneath it isnt all that great. some of the advantages of the WSTL DSLAM, like SW upgrades for the chipsets, are gone without a TXN solution. maybe this was also a warning to TXN to get its act together. who knows. at any rate, i dont want to be invested in a WSTL that only sells the CPE end. the real money is in the DSLAMs.

things just got a lot more interesting today.

on todays price action...it wasnt just WSTL. it was a few other things. did manage to pick up more MU puts today, and i bought a lot of TSATA. i recommend everyone pick up a few k shares of that tomorrow if it isnt above 5.

good luck to all,
trey
