** To ALL ** I urge you all to carefully read Gregg Powers'
posts on the Qualcomm board, See links that follow:

Short (simple) comments.
Appears that both parties in the the dispute may be ready to "bury
the hatchet, and not into each other's heads.

Yes, Ericsson needs to produce a cdma headset soon.
Yes, they need to get a 3rd Generation CDMA Air interface
up and running soon.

And Qcom needs the IPR revenue.
I do not believe that they will be able to design & produce
new leading edge headsets at the rate that Nokia & Ericsson can

They also need help (from Ericy and/or Nokia) in the production
of a CDMA infrastructure.

If they indeed agree to work together (harmony) we will all benefit.

Thanks,
Mardy.

"/ Finally, Important point #5: Irwin specifically
spoke of near-term opportunities in China. This is particularly interesting since China is supposed to be locked up by GSM and working with Ericsson on W-CDMA." etc
