Glenn: There was some speculation today on TheStreet.com that AMZN might be a buyer of LYCOS. Part of the the rational was that the current market value of AMZN would allow AMZN to buy LYCOS for approximately $ 8 billion with its funny money (Inflated stock value). What do you think of such a combination ? Is Lycos worth $ 8 billion if the e-commerce guys are going to have trouble making any profits on retail sales ? Thanks as always for your comments.
