That's a good question. Everyone is taking a wait and see approach. I talked to the company on 1/29 and came away with mixed feelings. They said that they were surprized that the price didn't do better following the 3rd quarter results. I reminded him that the .26 cent earnings was due to the government settlement and was a one time event and probably should have been called an extraordinary item. He said the money was for operations and was fairly put in revenues. At any rate this contract, which in the past has been 40% of their total revenues, has been amended and won't cause them to service these planes at a loss as they have been doing for past 7 quarters. Because the gov't will be spending more per plane the number of planes serviced may decrease. The result may be a reduction in revenues but an increase in earnings.
The other divisions are doing nicely with recent contracts raising backlogs. The company is worth more than $1.31 but what will spark the rally? A positive quarter or a new contract could draw some attention.
