DO you have a separate DVD hardware card?

If so, check to see if it has NTSC out - an RG 59 (?) connector - or a set of 3 RCA plugs labeled Video OUT (usually yellow) Audio Out Right (Red) and Audio Out Left (white).

Let me know what you find before we proceed.
