I have to tell you, LG, I spent so much time with Vogelstein (an hour-- a lot of time for me) trying to explain what goes on here, why the people are smart, how we called the top in July, Favors, Murphy, RA, etc. Nothing. Instead, "DP the cowboy rides in and kicks net ass and takes his profits!" I was so disappointed. Then this nitwit from the Phil Inquirer calls me and wants to do a story on people who bought net stocks with credit cards. I asked her "Why don't you use your forum to educate people about the market; explain to them how they can do well on their own, what to read, how to be autodidacs?" She says, "ah, well, people want to know how to make a killing. They don't want to spend all the time you do." I then explained that his is a tough game, and that one's only hope is to work hard. Just like playing the piano, ice skating, writing, etc. WASTED TIME. What an idiot. In any event, I am pissed-- GD pissed -- that SI is described in the US News article as "an Internet chat room" What BS. |
