Competition is key. Many of us are attracted to PNLK I think because of the concept--world trade at the click of a mouse. And the fact that PNLK was touting their World's Largest Website for their product, or something to that effect.

How do these two issues stack up now?

They mentioned monitering 80 competitors. That's a lot of competition. I wonder how many of these focus on business to business in just the US, and how many are world oriented? Our concern, I think, should be with the international trade sites primarily. I like the Israel news as it addresses their market and not the US business to business market, which I imagine has much more intense competition currently simply because the vast majority of internet usage is here in the US. That will change over time, and that is where patience and focus on direct competitors should be a major concern. Another reason the Israel news is important (to me) is that it would seem to indicate that PNLK is doing quite well versus their true competition (international trade).

The second item we were attracted to is the idea of a website that is anything and everything to businesses interested in international trade. The compliance and currency issues were of particular interest to me, as I assumed both issues aren't simple and if PNLK had expertize in those areas they have a leg up. Perhaps we have been disappointed with the website so far... The next release is rumored (on this thread) to not disappoint. One only need to read up on Rare Medium to discover that this is quite an impressive, growing, website developer.

I'm not sure I've said much here. Just trying to revisit my original perspective on this here in writing. Shares outstanding and financing are extremely important also (to us). A lot of issues have to come together--one of the biggest will have to be global usage of the internet itself, which will take decades--I wonder when critical mass will be reached for PNLK to take off?

Any additional comments especially on competition for international trade and/or thoughts about who the 80 comprises would make for positive discussion on the thread..
