Yes Elmer ... 7-800mhz is well within reach of Intel's .18um process. Intel
presented a paper at IEDM that described an SRAM (yield test vehicle)
that ran at 900mhz. For comparison, the 4mb SRAM used for Intel's .25um
process ran at 350-400mhz. Thus I believe that Intel's .18um process will
go ABOVE 900mhz in the future.
