Robin -- Give up the physics and take up writing. You're great! I don't see anything fatal in your list of gripes, so I won't dial 9-1-1 yet. You have a wonderful sense of humor. If all else fails, try Haagen-Dazs almond-fudge bars. Don't rush it. Unwrap slowly. Eat one bite at a time. Concentrate on every nuance of flavor and texture. When done, remind yourself there'll always be another a Speedy-mart away. Grades, guys, goals might disappoint, but not the most perfect ice-cream in the world.
