John, The Chinese SVCD manufacturers formally complained that the correct English spelling is SuperVCD, or SVCD, but not Chao ji VCD. "Chao ji" is Chinese pronunciation for "Super". It seems to me some people are either ignorant or purposedly trying to misguide the mass by continuously using the term: "Chao ji VCD". Steve
