Gary D: I think the only way the impeachment trial would have a positive effect on the markets is if it is a long, drawn out process with witnesses where the outcome goes into doubt and then Clinto walks. There is little question about the outcome now as I thought could happen because the Senators on both sides have made up their minds and can't be away from a camera for more than five minutes. Good God, fully 20 of the 100 Senators were on Sunday talk shows last weekend alone painting themselves into a corner and giving lip service to the idea that they have open minds. Imagine the OJ jurors giving us a day by day news conference on where they stand. It's the same deal. These guys can't shut-up and do their jobs. I wish some Senator would make a motion for these guys to shut-up until the trial ends.
