Ed: Nathan Myhrvold, Micorosoft's technology guru, recently said Windows may be swamped within five years by Linux. Microsoft is top holding in my portfolio right now but I am keeping a close watch on Linux and the open source movement as I believe they represent the largest long-term threats to Microsoft.
