NB99.03-5] The US Department of Commerce has
terminated its 1992 suspension agreement with
Kazakhstan, two months after Kazakhstan served notice of
its intent to end the agreement. The DOC will now
'redetermine' whether Kazakh origin uranium has been
sold at 'less than fair market value' in the US, with a
decision expected by the end of March. If the DOC's
finding is affirmative, the International Trade Commission
would then decide if the imports are 'damaging to the US
uranium industry', and if so an antidumping duty would be
