MySoftware Company(TM) Expects Record Fourth Quarter Revenues

Preliminary Results Show Revenues Up 40-50% From Q4 1997

Highest Quarterly and Annual Revenue in Company's History

PALO ALTO, Calif., Jan. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- MySoftware Company MYSW today announced that it expects record revenues for the quarter ended December 31, 1998, making it the third record revenue quarter of 1998 and the highest revenue quarter in the history of the Company. Based on preliminary unaudited results, MySoftware expects to report a 15-20 percent increase in revenues from Q3 1998, an increase of 40-50 percent from Q4 1997.
The Company's earnings per share are expected to range between $.07-$.08 for Q4, up from a loss of $.38 per share in the same quarter of 1997.

For the twelve months ended December 31, 1998, MySoftware expects revenue totals to be the highest in the Company's history, 15-20 percent greater than in 1997. Earnings per share are expected to range between $.09-$.10 for 1998.

"1998 was a year in which we moved beyond packaged software and into more lucrative channels. Q4 success was primarily due to strong annuity and retail sales as well as our business development partnerships. By investing during Q4 in the development of our new Web services, we are well positioned for growth in 1999," commented CEO and President Gregory Slayton, "we are heartened by these results and excited about the Company's prospects going forward."
