Ever heard of the company that runs the broadpoint.com web page. They offer FREE LONG DISTANCE PHONE SERVICE! REALLY! It's not for everyone, because the catch is that you have to listen to a few seconds of commercials for every few minutes of calling. Obviously, the busy businessman is not going to use it, but for people like my son, who just started at college, it is definitely something he would use. Anyway, they may still be privately held, I e-mailed to ask them, but worth keeping an eye on them.
