Lucent Technologies Inc. (LU) 115 1/2: telecommunications equipment maker posts a fiscal Q1 operating net of $1.05 a share, five cents ahead of the First Call estimate, vs year-ago profit of $0.86 a share; revenues rose 5.5% to 9.2 bln; with regards to next quarter, company thinks that it can double last year's net of $0.14 a share; current estimates suggests earnings of $0.23 a share;
