I talked to Telescan tech support. They don't know why the optimized MACD places the long MA BEFORE the short MA. You're right. It isn't logical. I tested it in TC2000 and the lines and signals were reversed. But, by righting the order of the 1st two numbers, the optimization works very well. I'll keep experimenting. John
