Another point about the heavy day traders is the leverage their brokers allow. You can put up as little as 25k, and they will let you play with 250k, only on day trades, no overnite holds. That is why we have the volatility we have now, it's all borrowed money...... You would also be surprised how many of them are here on the S/I threads...
