I just got off the phone with the receptionist at Team Cheaver and she said that TCBG is most definitely a sponsor in this years racing. Here is what is happening: TCBG will be co-sponsoring Eddie Cheever's car along with Racheals Potato Chips and that Robbie's car as yet has been sidelined until they have enough sponsorship for that one. She was not certain as to what extent Wal-Mart is involved but she did say that they are. In other words she wasn't sure if they were sponsoring along with TCBG or on their own. She said that Robbie's car could always be back in the races if one or more of the sponsors would be willing to sponsor that one on their own or with another. When I asked her how the relationship between TCBG and Team Cheever is she replied that it is great and that they are very happy to have TCBG with them. That's all folks, Columbo Oh yeah, if you go to Teamcheever.com you can purchase a few things with the TCBG logo on them. I picked up a hat for my son as I don't wear baseball caps much; but I think I'll put it on this weekend while I'm watching the races for that good home team feeling.
