I sort of mixed the list of serial-modems and ethernet bridges, but one bridge I listed was:

Aironet BR500-E (25 km, 11 Mbps, full duplex), $3311.95

4.5 Mbps is what Wi-LAN claims of their Hopper Plus 45-24. I've never seen or used their product, so I can't comment. It would be great to see a product comparison article. I've heard claims of 22-39 Mbps being possible with Wi-LAN's OFDM technology. Of course, OFDM is still immature and very much R&D, so I'll believe it when I see it.
