Ken & Walter - LU's strength last Q was chips and switches. From the traditional telecom equipments sector, there are ALA and ERICY underperforming. The consolidation of the data networkers are still underway. After seeing CSCO took out many smaller outfits [I am still holding some of them] in the past 2 - 3 years, one way or another, I wouldn't underestimate Mr Chambers's ability to compete.

I do think NT will hold its own. What it lacks is a *sexy* personality. People like cowboy type like Chambers and Lucent has finally found a way to get paid for all those patents those geniuses have acquired at the old Bell Labs. So, NT is for those who like a long term relationship <g>.
