Tom, I've decided to add a few shares at this price. I think the recent knews that General Instrument was filling a big order for digital MMDS systems PCTV and other members of a consortium was very positive.

PCTV apparantly has a fair size customer base for TV, but I originally bought in on the hopes that they would open up the service to 2 way communication. Tests at CAI Wireless seemed to indicate they could do 2 way with analog, but true useful service would be waiting for digital.

PCTV and the whole industry took a big hit due to problems at CAI Wireless (CAWS), which was partnering with Bell Atlantic and NYNEX. The RBOC's pulled outand that sunk CAWS in everyone's opinion. Whether the technology was proven to be faulty I doubt.

I read a recent report from a meeting of RBOC's, GTE, MCI and AT&T. They talked about their goals for future. Seemed like they questioned whether they were making a mistake breaking away from their main businesses. I think this could be he reason they have pulled back from MMDS.

Anyway, watching PCTV, they have pulled back a lot and now seem to be stable around $4. I'm hoping they are bottomed out and they will prove to have some value as time goes. I have no good hard facts to say why, but I'll let you know if I come up with anything.

Mark
