billserv.com Appoints Vice-President of Business Development
SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 21, 1999--billserv.com Inc. (OTC BB:BLLS), a consolidator of Internet billing clearinghouse services, today announced the appointment of Randy Kauftheil as its Vice President of Business Development.
Kauftheil graduated from Syracuse University with Honors and dual degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics. He has over 24 years of experience in the data processing and communications industries. Most recently, he served as the Director of Business Development for Affiliated Computer Services (''ACS'')(NYSE:ACS - news) in the Communications Industry Services Division. Prior to ACS, Kauftheil served as a Sales and Marketing Manager for Wesson Taylor Wells & Associates (''WTW''), which was acquired by ACS. Prior to joining WTW, he founded and operated a national software house and systems integration firm.
In the course of his career, Kauftheil has provided consulting and implementation services to a wide range of domestic and international businesses and organizations in a variety of industries, including SBC Communications (NYSE:SBC - news), Bell South (NYSE:BLS - news), Bell Atlantic (NYSE:BEL - news), U.S. West (NYSE:USW - news), GTE (NYSE:GTE - news), AT&T (NYSE:T - news), Competitive Local Exchange Carriers, Wireless Carriers, Cable Companies and Internet Service Providers. Kauftheil was involved in major implementations at Ameritech (NYSE:AIT - news), Billing Concepts (NASDAQ:BILL - news), General Motors (NYSE:GM - news), Nippon Telephone & Telegraph (NYSE:NTT - news) and Nortel Networks (NYSE:NT - news).
