Final sale figures in for 1998 a 209% increase in DVD sales. Not bad :-) From Mark's Monday Memo - The final 1998 figures for sales to U.S. dealers are in: - DTV - 13,176 units, an infinite increase over 1997 - Projection TV - 1,070,211, a new record, up 17% - Direct-view - 25,351,807, up 7%, no record - FYI: - VCRs (not camcorders) - 21,260,157, new record, up 12% - DVD - 1,079,261, new record, up 209%
