I agree that the proposed increase is totally a greed factor and out of line. I do not plan to renew when my subscription expires.

I think the major culprit is Phillips. I also subscribed to Mutual Fund Investing - which I have found to be a sound source of info. When my subscription lapsed I did not renew because of what I felt were excessive costs. I then started to receive successive biweekly offers at discounts at lower prices. I then resubscibed when the price quoted was reasonable and fair. My latest subscription expires next month. I plan to repeat the process.
