I am forward looking, as is the mkt. If you looked closely at those earnings (which I doubt you did) you'd find that most were down yr over yr as they have been for the past yr. (MSFT being a notable exception) S&P earnings were negative last yr and will likely be so again. Why don't you actually study some of these co's instead of relying on what some idiot journalist wrote in your daily rag. You might learn something.
