A good buy? What I said was that it is possible to make a guess at valuation (most DotComs it is impossible to even guess at valuation, which is why people build castles in the sky with them) but the assumptions you have to make to guess at valuation are so tenuous I would not make a buy/sell decision based on valuation. Depending on both the market in general and the market for Internet stocks in particular, AOL could sell for anything between $50/shr and $250/shr. Technically, AOL is over twice as volatile as the market (Beta about 2.25). This is not a cheap stock.
