rosemary: <your email etc.> So everyone's messages are possibly looked at? Where you are, can you feel relatively free to do almost any kind of, say, email? How about your incoming messages. Should these be carefully prepared? What's going on----only if this is comfortable for you...Finally, can persons in Singapore, have a political club, and talk about say, China? I made a very interesting contact/friend while there, who wrote about Thailand and Burma. She taught herself many dialects of both Burma and Thailand. One of her books was about walking long distances, along the Burmese border, and spending time with a war lord in opium growing country, called Kun Sa. If you are interested, I would refer you. Her publisher gave me her home number in New Jersay. It was so much fun "meeting" this kind of person, with me being in a phone in Bankok---having studied her courageous book. She was later banned from traveling to either country. I should find out what she is doing. I discovered her book entirely accidentally--on the shelf of a used bookstore in Berkeley. |
