I think you mean ActiveX (or perhaps CaptiveX is something that I am
not aware of and you can elaborate on that)... Anyway, MSFT is
embracing Java with passion and that is great news for Sun. MSFT
will be going to all platforms (UNIX, Mac, VMS) through their version
of Java virtual machine and Web explorer. Soon large desktop
applications such as Office 97 may simply be an Active control
downloaded over the net running inside a browser (supporting
ActiveX) on a Unix box (and perhaps a Sun NC). So the more
successful MSFT is in taking Sun's innovation in Java technology
the better it will be for Sun's servers and NCs.
