Here's your original post ... the point Anna was making is that for NASDAQ stocks there are no runners ... the NASDAQ is completely electronic ... and if you have to call a broker to get a fill I can do it much quicker if I have Level II and direct access to the market makers and/or ECN's that are buying/selling the stock in question. I could be filled before you get off the phone with your broker. And I could turn around and flip it back out to minutes later ... maybe selling to you who had to interact with a human.
