Beware Shorting USAT...

I took a long hard look at this yesterday. Turns out I know the history of one of the guys who controlled the shell used to reverse merge USAT and take 'em public. He's a very "Bad" guy.

Problem is, USAT is TIGHTLY held. And when I say tight, I mean tight. I bet the float is less than 100,000. IMO - it's a totally manipulated stock.

They're an MLM, selling long distance on a one rate plan. Notice that the stock was up nine this am on volume of about 5,000?

I know the insiders have registered over 1.6 million of warrants (convertible at like .06), but I think this entire deal is trouble for a short. The MLM guys who sell the LD product are going to end up buying the stock and getting others to buy.

The company has a conference call nightly (7pm pacific 1 423 362-4150 pin 1999), which I listened to, and they have lots of ammo to pump this stock coming shortly. Like the fact that they opened the CA market today for their LD one rate plan.

I think it's a scam and will eventually die like a rotten carp. But with a 4-1 forward effective Feb 1, a tight float and MLM sales geeks buying and getting others to buy, shorting this now could be heap um big trouble.

ANthony - I would love to see you sign up with the service in CA and let us know how well it works. I figure they will have serious "failure to get through, busy line" problems - among others...

I'm waiting for an easier scam to hammer.

Cheers Steve
