A couple of days ago I bought 200 "extra" shares of DELL to cheer myself up. Then I sold covered calls on them at 80 because after all they were "extra". Over the weekend those shares talked to me. They said "We dont like being treated so badly when your other shares are so lovingly held. We strongly object to those covered calls which tell us you are willing to let us go to another owner for the ridiculously low price of 80." So just now I took a hit for about $300 bucks a contract more than I got and bought those two calls back. I havent talked with those shares yet but I am sure they feel much better about life. Freeus
